Ice Progession

Cairngorms National Park, Scotland

I was attracted by the ice at the edge of a loch by the different states of ice. These states ranged from thin, barely perceptible ice through to thicker ice with grasses trapped in it. One of the problems with this type of photography is being able to position the tripod without shattering the ice sheet.
