 After spending a few hours walking round these lovely lochs in the forest, I was heading back to my car, when I saw the opportunity for this image. I liked the idea of creating depth to the image by using the tree trunks, in shade, as a frame looking through to the wider landscape. I carefully positioned myself so that the lone sunlit tree was in a gap and had a cloud shadow behind it to make it stand out. Snow capped mountains rounded the scene off nicely.
