The tranquil nature of this scene belies the fact that it was taken from the roadside of the busy A9. I had been heading North to capture the October fall season, when I noticed the hillside colours and felt compelled to stop. The variety of textures and colours in the scene filled my senses so much, that I was oblivious to any traffic noise as I strived to capture this beautiful landscape image.
