Sometimes, less is more. On this occasion, I focused on the Beech trunk, while keeping the background trees blurred, but recognisable. I wanted to concentrate on the harmonious, restricted color palette between foreground and background. The soft focus of the trees helps to create a suggestion of a much larger forest.
