Inclined Planes
Glen Lednock, Perthshire, Scotland
In many respects, the trees on the hillside in this image are not the main subject even though they are in a prime location. In my mind, they play a supporting role to the different coloured wedges in the frame. These inclined planes are differentiated by either physical, tonal or textural boundaries. They form a graphical focal point and the trees bind them together with their branches.
