Go with the Flow

I love the simplicity of this abstract picture. In a woodland clearing, a stream passed over the lip of a low lying weir, creating ribbons of water. By using a long exposure, the water has been transformed to look almost like folds in cloth. As the water was in shade, it picked up its blue colour from the clear sky above, giving it further texture.
