Inverpolly National Nature Reserve, Assynt, Scotland
Early morning light raked across the undulating, barren, autumn landscape of Inverpolly, making the most of the awesome scenery. Snow on the top of Cul Mor crowned my delight at this scene. The mountains on the left are Coigach and Cul Beag. Thankfully the overnight cloud had started to clear, raising my hopes for a productive days photography. Autumn is my favourite of all the seasons of the year, providing strong colours and low-angled lighting.
