Beech Leaves Mirror
Arbroath, Angus, Scotland, UK
When using mirror techniques to create impressionistic landscapes, I strive to suggest a new way of seeing the natural world. Here, I intentionally de-focussed the lens so that no part of the image was sharp. This is the complete opposite of normal landscape photography practice. I was wanting to concentrate on the tonal contrast between the golden leaves and the green background.
