Time to Reflect

Loch Faskally, Pitlochry, Perthshire, Scotland

Taken from a footbridge, timing played a critical part in this image. Everytime someone walked on the bridge, it gave a pleasing bounce, pleasing that is unless you are trying to take a photograph. This was compounded by needing to take six separate images and stitch them together to form the panoramic image. There is always the additional pressure with reflections, of not knowing when the calm will be disturbed by the wind. As it turned out, immediately after creating this image the wind got up and the rain started, emptying the bridge of people but destroying the reflection.
