Cul Mor in Winter

Inverpolly National Nature Reserve, Assynt, Scotland

Inverpolly is a largely uninhabited area of raised bog punctuated by a myriad of lochans. Rising steeply from the relatively flat terrain are a series of sheer faced, majestic mountains. Although not the highest mountains in the world, their character and prominence in the landscape elevate them to some of the most attractive. Here snow clad Cul Mor 849m, towers above Loch an Doire Dhuibh.
