Birch Trunk Blur

Lichen growth had turned most of the glowing trunks of these Silver Birch trees to a muted grey. Fortunately, the one that remained lightest, also had a wonderful contorted shape, making it stand out even more from the muted autumnal hues of the background vegetation..
