I was determined to capture this winding road and the beautiful fall colors of the leaves despite the increasing wind. One of the problems encountered when creating stitched panoramic images is where the subject matter moves, before exposing adjoining images. This can create mismatched in areas such as branches. On this day, the problem was increased by the overcast light and deep shade which required lengthy exposure times for each segment. I had to make repeated attempts at creating this image until I achieved one with no movement during the entire shooting process.
